Mark your calendar now for this year’s 3rd Annual “Rods & Rockers On Wheels” Vintage Car Show Saturday May 21st 2011 from 1 – 6pm at the Steer Inn Tavern on Racetrack Road in Berlin, Md. Located 10 minutes from Ocean City and just 1/2 mile north of the Casino at Ocean Downs.

Keeping things fresh and exciting this year’s event will include the Surf and Rockabilly sounds of Kid Davis and The Bullets, Street Performing acts with the Scarborough Sideshow, Pin-Up Model contest hosted by Betty B’s which is sure to attract the classist and sassiest barn-burning beauties around! Cash prizes, gift certificates, photo shoot by Andrew Azbell of Inksmith Design Studio as well as being featured on the front cover of The Hard Times Magazine will be awarded to the winner and runner-ups. Picnic food and adult beverages will be available for purchase on site during the event from the Steer. Please no coolers.

This year’s Spring show has been retrofitted and geared up to preserve the TRUE sights, sounds and cars of the era while keeping with the kulture. This show is open to all 1975s and older Hot Rods, Classics, Antiques, Rat Rods, Deadbeaters, Trucks & Specialties. Custom hand crafted trophies, cash prizes along with gift certificates will be awarded to the winners. Registration for the Car Show will be onsite the day of space allowing and a $10 entry fee will be collected from participating contestants. Categories include Best in Show, People’s Choice & Always under Construction!

Saturday Night the party continues with one of the hottest South Jersey/Philadelphia's Rockabilly Bands “THE SUPER DEVILS” For additional information Steer on Inn! WARNING: this shindig is all about fun!

WANTED: Barn Burners wanted to raze some berries to compete for the title of this year’s 3nd Annual Miss Rods and Rockers 2011 Pin-up Model Contest hosted by Betty B.

WHEN: May 21st 1 – 6pm. Get your dibs in now and get ready to rattle your classy chassis.

PRIZES: The 1st place winner will receive a Sash & $100 Cash, A Trophy, A professional photo shoot (the next day) from Andrew Azbell of Inksmith Studios, makeup and hair, a limo ride to the photo shoot (Courtesy of Lovin Life Limos) and will be on the cover of the May 25th Edition of The Hard Times Magazine. Registration is the day of with Betty and the contest is scheduled for 4pm. The 1st & 2nd place runner ups will receive Trophies & Gift Certificates.

“Rods & Rockers Fall Vintage Car & Bike Show

Saturday October 9th from 1-6pm - Mark your calendar for this Fall’s “Rods & Rockers” Vintage Car & Bike Show at the Steer Inn Tavern on Racetrack Rd. just outside of Ocean City in Berlin Md. The Steer Inn Tavern along with CTM Customs of Easton Maryland will be keeping it Kool & Kustom.

This year’s Fall show has been retrofitted and geared up to preserve the TRUE sights, sounds and cars of the days era while keeping with the kulture. This show is open to all 1975s and older Hot Rods, Classics, Antiques, Rat Rods, Bikes, Deadbeaters, Trucks & Specialties. A swap meet as well as various other activities will take place behind the Steer Inn in their picnic park area. Custom hand crafted trophies, cash prizes along with gift certificates to the Steer Inn will be awarded to the winners. Registration for the Car Show will be onsite the day of space allowing. Live bands including the Nitro Burning Hot Rod Rockin’ sounds of the SUPER DEVILS will be playing during the day along with a DJ will spinning rockabilly & rock & roll. Plenty of food and beer will be available for purchase during the event.

At night for a “Blast from the Past” Philly’s area FULL BLOWN CHERRY will be crusin’ into town and taking the stage playing 50’s/rockabilly inside the Steer Inn at 9pm Saturday night for a Full Blown Blowout of a party. For additional information checkout rodsandrockers.com
